*Widerstand von Frauen* in Polen – eine Aktivistin berichtet* Am 16. November 2015 wurde in Polen eine neue Regierung gewählt. Die nationalkonservative Partei „Prawo i Sprawiedliwość - Partei Recht und Gerechtigkeit“, kurz PiS, gewann die Wahlen und stellt seitdem erstmals in der Geschichte der Polnischen Republik allein die Regierung. PiS ist mittlerweile in allen wichtigen politischen Ministerien, Ämtern und Gremien vertreten und baut den Staat nach ihren Vorstellungen um. Nach und nach entwickelt sich Polen hin zu einem autoritären Staat.
Vor allem die Rechte für Frauen* werden dabei immer weiter eingeschränkt. So bemüht sich seit 1,5 Jahren eine unheilvolle Allianz aus der katholischen Kirche und rechten, nationalistischen Gruppierungen, Abtreibungen grundsätzlich unter Strafe zu stellen. Und dass, obwohl schon das aktuelle Gesetzt nur Schwangerschaftsabbrüche erlaubt, wenn die Gesundheit oder das Leben der Frau gefährdet ist, wenn die Schwangerschaft das Ergebnis einer Straftat ist oder wenn eine schwere Behinderung des Fötus diagnostiziert wurde. Verhindert werden konnte diese Initiative nur dank der größten Demonstrationen seit Ende des Kommunismus. Bei diesen sogenannten „schwarzen Protesten“ gingen allein in Warschau 22.000 Menschen auf die Straße.
Monika Pacyfka Tichy aus Szczecin (Polen) setzt sich für Frauen- und LGBT*-Rechte in Polen ein und war selbst bei den Demonstrationen der „schwarzen Proteste“ beteiligt. Am 27.11.2017 kommt sie ins Anna & Arthur und berichtet ab 20 Uhr von den jüngsten politischen Entwicklungen in Polen. Dabei geht sie insbesondere auf die Situation der Frauen* ein. On 16^th November 2015, a new government was elected in Poland. The national-conservative party "Prawo i Sprawiedliwość - Law and Justice Party", PiS for short, won the elections and since then has been the only government in the history of the Polish Republic for the first time. PiS is now represented in all major political ministries, offices and committees and is building the state according to their ideas. Gradually, Poland is developing into an authoritarian state. Especially the rights for women* are being increasingly restricted. For 1.5 years, an ominous alliance of the Catholic Church and right-wing, nationalist groups has endeavoured to criminalize abortions. Even though the current law only allows abortions, when the health or life of the woman is at risk, when the pregnancy is the result of a crime or when a serious disability of the foetus was diagnosed. This initiative could only be prevented thanks to the biggest demonstrations since the end of communism. In these so-called "black protests" alone in Warsaw 22,000 people went to the streets.
